.Journey to the Clouds: A Tale of Sajek's Tranquil Escapes

Sajek Valley, located in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh, is a captivating sanctuary renowned as both "The Kingdom of Clouds" and "The Terrace of Rangamati. Gathered as a group of seven adventurers, we embarked on a journey that promised to write a story of friendship and discovery. We set out from Dhaka on December 28, 2022, to explore the kingdom of clouds.

Day 1: Setting foot in Sajek

First, we went to Khagrachori, where we rented a chander gari for our journey to Sajek, the kingdom of clouds. As we were on our way, we raced other cars and sang songs to our heart's content, making our journey more entertaining. The curvy and sloppy roads made our hearts race with excitement, boosting our spirit of adventure.

Upon arrival in Sajek, we rented a hotel and set out to explore Sajek's breathtaking beauty. Sajek welcomed us with its cloudy hills and narrow valleys.

For our first destination, we chose Konglak Pahar. Renting some bamboo sticks, we started our hike to the top of the mountain, where, upon reaching, we saw some locals selling handcrafted items. And what better way to commemorate my journey than by buying these artisans' crafts?

For our lunch, we chose the most famous restaurant and ordered their most popular item, bamboo chicken. From there, we headed to the stone garden, where old boulders revealed historical tales dating back eons. We were in awe of the beauty it held.

After some rest and taking the most jaw-dropping pictures of my life, we went out for evening snacks and met the locals. Besides the helipad, there were lots of food carts selling local delicacies. After enjoying our local delicacies, we ventured out to meet the locals, eating chai from a local shop and engaging in conversations about their culture and way of life. Upon returning to our hotel room, it started raining. And the fun fact is that we were above the clouds, where it rained. What a majestic view it was!

Day 2: Venturing into Khagrachori

Having stayed one night at Sajek, we set out to return to Khagrachori the next day. Every landmark, from the silent Nafakhum waterfall to the mysterious depths of Alutila Cave, left a lasting mark on our hearts. In Alutila Cave, many of us became injured while others enjoyed it. Also, we visited the hanging bridge where we ate, enjoying the most remarkable view of our lives in front of us.

Having had such a wonderful time, we were in awe of Bangladesh's splendor. It's a country of vast wilderness and unending beauty. Having made memories that would last me a lifetime, we set out for our journey back home. Even though our journey has ended, our hearts still burn brightly due to the spirit of exploration, paving the way for many adventures to come.
