A Dark Noon

Among all the events that happen in life, there is one accident that I can never forget. Even if I close my eyes, I can see the incident. It is quite rare that we witness an accident ourselves. After the accident i felt like life gave me second chance to live. Death was so close to our eyes.
How the day starts:
The incident was in 2018 when I was in seven grade. That year my family decided to go to Cox's Bazar, Inani on the occasion of Eid. It was Friday noon and we were so happy that we got up early in the morning. We went out with all the preparations to go to the picnic before the Friday prayer. We were about 25 people including my parents, my brothers and sisters and my aunts and uncles. My aunt had a few months old baby. Everyone was so excited. The elders cooked food from home and Those food were kept under my seat, so that we could sit and enjoy the food by the sea. Then We all left for the bus.
The most terrifying moment:
Everyone was going with joy by bus and suddenly a CNG went in front of the bus and our bus lost control. The bus fell into a paddy field and completely overturned. I and my family never imagined such a day. I was so scared that I fainted. When I regained consciousness i saw that the air was filled with cries and shouts. All the glass of the bus was breaking and the pieces of glass filled the bus. Through the window, I could see concerned faces gathering around, trying to assess the situation. Sirens wailed in the distance, a harsh reminder of the seriousness of the accident. For a moment I felt like I had died, after opening my eyes i was thinking "am i alive? or death?".About2,3 people on my body. People around the street came forward to help us. The glass of the bus broke on my cousin's leg and her leg was bleeding profusely, One of my brothers got shards of glass all over his body, a sister got her head stuck in the mud due to the overturning of the bus which caused mud to enter her nose and mouth. Later she was taken to the hospital and had to get the mud out of her nose and mouth. I got some injury on my left hand, and All the cooked food fell on me and my brother's feet, our feet were burning ,because those food were steaming hot. It is Allah's mercy that nothing happened to the baby of a few months. After coming home we all went to the hospital and had a body checkup. We all were pretty safe. No one have to lose their life, Alhamdullilah.
I still can't forget the incident. Due to the accident, everyone gets a kind of mental stress which takes a long time to overcome. The elders of the house were saying that it is dangerous to go out on Friday before juma although I do not believe in superstitions. In the aftermath of the accident, I am left with a renewed appreciation for life's unpredictability .Every moment is precious, every interaction meaningful. Thanks to Allah, everyone in the family is healthy now. This was an unforgettable chapter in the book called Life.
